Thank you for the 8 days of guidance and company. This was not just a trip beyond expectation, but also deepened the bond between me and my three teachers. We were all deeply touched by Zaber's wisdom, thoughtfulness, and the well-planned itinerary, as well as his expertise in birdwatching and profound love for the nature here. I wish Zaber and Babu all the best in their upcoming guiding work, and wish they see all the bird species they hope for. I hope I can return to Bangladesh someday, and I look forward to seeing them again at some point in the rest of my life.

Bangladesh is a place I've never visited before but this was on my wishlist to go to particularly the Sundarban. Being part of the mighty ganges delta, it's a major Natural Wonder. The Birds attracted me and my son to come here, particularly the Elusive Masked Finfoot & White-eared Night Heron. The Trip so far has been excellent. We really appreciate the Expertise of Zaber and the Crew onboard the Houseboat has been great. The Food, variety, freshness has been wonderful. So we couldn't be happier.

Bangladesh might not be most people’s first choice of holiday destination, but then most people have never heard of a Masked Finfoot. This is a real ‘last-chance-to-see’ species. If you want to see one, and I realise most people probably don’t, it has to be soon and it has to be Bangladesh. Amazingly, we scored an adult-plumaged White-eared Night Heron on the first attempt! Then a female Masked Finfoot on second day. Thanks to Zaber Ansary for guiding the tour and others for letting me tag along.

Zaber Ansary with BirdingBD Tours is super knowledgeable about the birds of Bangladesh. He has an excellent ear and eyes, and knows where to go to find the birds. He is also patient with those who are new to birding. Zaber was by far the best bird guide we found in our two weeks in Bangladesh. In addition to all this he is a nice guy and has pretty good English. Our only regret is that we did not hire him as our guide for our enrite time in Bangladesh!

My birding trip to the Sunderbans was nothing short of amazing. Travelling with Ikbal Babu made the experience truly special. His sharp eyes and deep knowledge of the region’s birds brought the forest and waterways alive. We came tantalisingly close to touching the 100 species mark! A huge shout out to Zaber, who managed every bit of the logistics with great care - from the transfers between Chittagong and Mongla, to the boat trips, accommodation, and even thoughtful back-up plans in case the itinerary needed tweaking. Thanks to him, the entire journey was seamless. Ikbal’s incredible spotting skills gave us memorable sightings across Karimjal, Harbaria, and the various canal routes. Each stop offered a richness of species that left me in awe. I’m already looking forward to my next birding adventure with this wonderful team.

I arranged a 1-day tour around Dhaka with Zaber during a work trip, visiting several sites in the area. We had a splendid day, seeing many South and South-east Asian goodies. Zaber is very knowledgeable about the local birds and their habit, and is excellent with all of the calls. A true expert. It was a lovely day with good company and I highly recommend a tour with him.

Zaber & I went for a short Birding Trip around Dhaka City, he seemed rather knowledgable about birds of Bangladesh and was picking on Bird calls very fast and accurately. We saw few nice species like the Bengal Weaver, Watercock & the Black Bittern. I got few Country ticks and returned to my hotel happy.
