Cachar Bulbul & Passerines - Hilly Forests Birdwatching in Eastern Bangladesh
The Cachar Bulbul was Split from Olive Bulbul back in 2017 and remains a prime target for Birdwatchers in the Indian Subcontinent. This Range restricted Bulbul is found in few hilly forests located in Eastern Bangladesh. Small size and all olive green color along with it’s rarity makes this bird a prized entry in any avid birdwatcher’s lifelist. Trip Itenerary
This trips are best if you’re a group of 2 to 5 people. Our Host and Guide will receive you from Airport or your Hotel and start for Sreemangal, then to the Birding Spot. Satchari National Park is famous for it’s diverse Bird and Wildlife collection, located at Habiganj District. We’ll do Birding on Foot here and look for the rich collection of Birds that are available here including the Cachar Bulbul. We’ll spend two full days in this park, one full day at another nearby forest looking for the White-cheeked Partridge, Fulvettas, Ashy Bulbul, Trogon etc. And One morning at Baikka Beel Wetland Sanctuary looking for Godwits, Waterbirds & the Pallas’s Fish Eagle. We’ll spend total 04 days birding , stay the nights in a nice hotel in Sreemangal City, an Hour Drive from Satchari NP & other Locations. Food & Beverages, Logistics, Twin sharing stays in Hotels and Birdwatching will be handled by our Expert Host and Guide so you can concentrate on Birdwatching. All transfers will be using Private Reserved Transport for the whole remainder of the Trip.
